OPENING OF THE LEGAL YEAR OF ENGLAND AND WALES IN LONDON

Jointly organized by the Law Society and Bar Council of England and Wales, the Opening of the Legal Year ceremony was hosted by the Law Society on Monday, September 30, 2019 in London. Istanbul Bar Association was represented by Atty. Sinan Naipoğlu, Board Member of Istanbul Bar Association during the events organized within this framework.

The events were given a start with a seminar on “The Impacts of the Hague Convention on Private International Law”. Following the breakfast hosted by the Law Society in Gray’s Inn on October 1, bar leaders’ photograph was shot with the presence of more than 50 bar representatives from all over the world.

The programme of events proceeded with the Lord Chancellor’s Reception in the Houses of Parliament.
