INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE BY AZERBAIJANI BAR ASSOCIATION IN BAKU
International Conference by Azerbaijani Bar Association organized on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of Legal Profession in Azerbaijan was held in Baku on October 4, 2019. The international conference on “Strong and Honorable Attorneyship- Current Challenges” was attended by Atty. Dr. Ayça Özok Ener, Board Member of Istanbul Bar Association.
Aimed at suggesting a comparative perspective on practices in different countries, the conference was attended by international experts and representatives from various countries who have highlighted on the role and independence of attorneyship profession in their countries. The conference also provided a ground for underlining the significance of lawyers’ education and training from the standpoint of the independence of attorneyship profession.
Hosted by the President of Azerbaijani Bar Association Anar Baginov, the conference was also attended by the President the Union of Turkish Bar Associations (UTBA) Atty. Prof. Dr. Metin Feyzioğlu and the Vice-President of UTBA Atty. Hüseyin Özbek as well as the presidents and representatives of various bar associations in representation of CCBE.
